Yang Zirong (楊子榮) was a Chinese military figure known for his role in counterinsurgency operations in Northeast China during the late 1940s. His story was later popularized in literature and theater, including the famous novel Tracks in the Snowy Forest and the Peking opera Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy.
