區乾 （1906∼1958）

廣東新會梅冲鄉人，出生於1906年(農曆五月十九日) ，父親區大，從小到佛山當屐店小工，約十七歲時便到石灣，在一間陶器店跟民間藝人廖榮當學徒，學做石灣公仔，以做鳥獸為主。

 1952年十一月由劉傳介紹到廣州人民美術社，負責創作。留下不少經典作品，如戰馬丶山羊丶喜雀丶鵪鶉等。

Master Ou Quian (1906~1958)

Ou Quian was born in Guang Dong Xin Hui Mei Chong Village on the nineteen day of the fifth lunar month (10/7/1906). His father is Ou Da who was also a potter. He left home very young and worked in a Shiwan wooden clogs shop. At the age of 17, he jointed the Shiwan workshop of Master Liao Rong as apprentice and learned to make gongz. He was known for his bird and animals.

 In November 1952,  Master Liu Chuan introduced him to join the Guangzhou Renmin Meishu She and responsible for designing. Leaving many outstanding works including warrior horse, goats, magpies, quails etc.
