Li Kui is a fictional character in Water Margin, one of the Four Great Classical Novels in Chinese literature. Nicknamed ‘Black Whirlwind’, he is ranked as ‘Killer Star’ among the 108 Stars of LiangShan Hero. Li has a dark complexion, fiery temper and enormous physical strength. When he brandishes his pair of axes and hacks his ways through the foes, the wind current threatens to pull in and destroy everything it catches, killing hundreds of thousands of enemies.

鍾汝榮，1956年生於石灣，祖籍肇慶。為陶藝家、畫家，獲我國評級為中國工藝美術大師、中國陶瓷藝術大師、高級工藝美術師、廣東省省級非物質文化遺產石灣陶塑技藝代表性傳承人。

鍾先生作品潑辣豪放，不但繼承傳統石灣陶塑之古雅樸拙，亦融合現代審美理念。人物造型奇特剛正，結構嚴謹精巧，誇張傳神為其藝術特色。

Zhong Ru Rong was born in Shi Wan in 1956 and his hometown is Zhaoqing. Ceramicist and painter. Zhong has been conferred with the titles of ‘Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts’, ‘Master of Ceramic Arts’, ‘Senior Arts and Crafts Artist’. He was appointed as the representative inheritor of the Guangdong municipal intangible cultural heritage – Shi Wan ceramic artistry.

The works of Zhong are pungent and bold.  Not only do they inherit the classic elegance and natural simplicity of traditional Shi Wan ceramics, they also blend in perfectly a sense of  modern aestheticism. The artistic feature is a combination of the peculiar and upright character design, the ingeniously constructed and refined structure, and the exaggerated and vivid demonstration.
